Cisco VOIP Engineer
Our client, a leading utility provider, is looking to add a Cisco UCM/VoIP Engineer to their team.
They are looking for someone who has expertise level experience and working knowledge of Voice over IP and Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
You will be coming into a situation where the Cisco phone system is already installed, and you will be needed to work as a lead to evaluate/validate, make recommendations, and modify the current design and configurations, if needed.
You will also provide ongoing support of the system and training/guidance to other support staff.
You will work with the team on new voice project designs.
What you'll need:
Must have strong cisco switching and routing background; firewall experience is a plus Extensive experience in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) designs and be able to configure, support, and troubleshoot Knowledge of voice gateway configuration and implementation and troubleshooting Knowledge of Cisco Unity voice mail server and application Understanding of SIP trunks and traditional voice circuits Experience in configuration and support of jabber application in UC environment as well as the client application for window desktops, iPhone and iPads Knowledge of Expressway configuration Advance troubleshooting abilities of various call issues Experience in security configuration and best practices for VoIP networks .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
