Provider Relations Supervisor

The Provider Relations Field Services Supervisor's job description and responsibilities are as follows:
+ Functions as a point of contact for the Department of Community Health (DCH), providers, and DXC staff.
+ Works closely with the Provider Relations Manager and serves as a back-up when necessary.
+ Serves as supervisor for all provider relations Field Service Representatives (FSR?s), In-House Support Representatives, Publications Coordinator, Fullard Review specialists, Consultants and Field Inspectors.
+ Interviews and hires candidates for open positions.
+ Coordinates training for new and existing staff regarding procedures and procedural changes.
+ Performs ongoing reviews of provider relations field services policies, procedures, reporting, and makes recommendations to the provider/member relations manager as appropriate.
+ Interacts with state, county, and local government agencies as related to provider relations field service representatives, supports representatives, publications coordinator, and Fullard Review specialists positions.
+ Oversees the completion of monthly reports for the DCH.
+ Develops all desk-level procedures for use by the Provider Relations Field Services team.
+ Oversees the compilation of provider relations field services statistics for the DCH.
+ Develops and implements an annual training plan for the Provider Relations Field Services team.
+ Identifies and reserves training locations for Provider Relations Field Services workshop training.
+ Attends quarterly policy manual meetings at the DCH, as appropriate.
+ Attends healthcare association meetings and communicates project updates, as required.
+ Reviews and approves expense reports and travel authorizations for the Provider Relations Field Services team.
+ Coordinates and approves emergency repair options for FSRs? fleet vehicles.
+ Reviews time tracking for Provider Relations Field Services team.
+ Develops and monitors budget for Provider Relations Field Services team.
Education and Experience Required:
+ Minimum bachelor?s degree and 2 years of supervisory experience managing at least 4 people (additional supervisory experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis).
+ Typically, 5-8 years of working experience
Knowledge and Skills:
+ At least 2 years of Medicaid claims/policies and procedures knowledge required
+ Experience resolving and following up on claims
+ Customer Service skills
+ Strong Presentation skills
+ Ability to work independently while traveling

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
