Seeking individual with proven success underwriting Professional Liability risks for Cyber Liability and E&O accounts.
Shall:
Review insurance applications for financial requirements and acceptable risk allowances.
Determine acceptability of risk using company standards and define terms and conditions for applications.
Price and rate accounts based on company requirements and financial risk.
Requirements:
Knowledge of underwriting processes, tools and coverages; ability to gather and evaluate data from applicants to reach decisions on renewal and new business applications.
Strong problem solving capabilities and ability to make decisions based on facts and risk assessments.
Financial lines underwriting experience within Errors & Omissions (E&O) and Cyber Liability.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
