Company is well established and has been in operation for over 30 years.
Position does not require previous experience as all training will be provided.
You will just need a willingness to learn.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) would be ideal for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Interview and onboard new production staff; manage online recruitment, background and referral checks and being the point of contact for outside recruitment agencies - Maintain development programs to include employee handbooks, safety manual and other procedural documents - Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures and practices - Use an occupational safety inspection program as a proactive tool for improvement compliance and challenge existing practices, where appropriate - Continuously train all staff weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually based on needs of the plant - Injury reporting, follow-up and root cause investigation - Review and analyze reports, records and directives relating to both Human Resources and Occupational Safety - Lead by example and strive for continuous improvements - Misc office tasks as needed Schedule is for a 8-hour day shift, Monday - Friday Please submit resumes to this posting as well as any other information you would like for us to know.
