We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practice in Tucker and Grayson, GA.
Our ideal Nurse Practitioner is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain.
Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections.
The Nurse Practitioner will split coverage between 2 offices (Tucker and Grayson).
Must be able to cover both locations, have clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, and have had experience with physical medicine/orthopedics.

Duties:
Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging) Order and review tests/labs (MRIs, NCVs, etc) Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities Manage patient care Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections Prescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as needed Prescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed) Documentation and progress notes - daily, timely and accurate Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program NP license in GA Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background required Experience with trigger point and joint injections a plus Must be able to work at both locations (Tucker and Grayson) Must have clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner Schedule:
Full time Monday - Friday Compensation:
$110,000 to $120,000 (DOE)
